Pathways & Portals
Come see for yourself
Four ways to spend time in Quintana Roo before you commit to anything. Tours aren’t booked online — we hold a small number of dates and we want to know who’s coming, so each one starts with a free consultation.
Self-Guided Discovery
Self-Guided Discovery – $297
Come see for yourself, on your own schedule. A day-by-day itinerary, vetted lodging at several price points, the neighborhoods worth walking, and one call with Della while you’re down here.
Available Guides are Puerto Morelos, Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and Tulum.
Includes a written itinerary, lodging recommendations, neighborhood walking guides, and a 30-minute call while you’re in Quintana Roo.You arrange your own travel and lodging. Best for people who want to explore independently.
Family Discovery Tour-$1,400
Two days on the ground with Della, for one family deciding whether this is home. We walk the neighborhoods you’ve only seen in photos — at the pace of people who live here rather than visit. You’ll see where families actually live, what rent gets you, where the schools are, and which streets feel like yours. You’ll meet Black immigrants already here and ask them the questions you can’t ask a website.
Includes airport pickup and all local transport, two days of guided neighborhood and housing tours, time with the local Black immigrant community, curated lodging recommendations, and a written summary of everything we saw. Up to four people, children included. Flights and lodging not included. This is the tour for deciding — if you’ve already decided, the Premium tour is built for that. A $400 deposit holds your date once confirmed, with the balance of $1000.00 due 15 days before your tour.
Deposits are non-refundable. Once we receive your deposit, we begin planning your experience—coordinating with local partners, reserving spaces, and dedicating time to make sure your tour is personalized and seamless. Your deposit secures these resources and your dates.
Group Discovery Tour-$550 per person
A weekend in Quintana Roo with a small group considering the same move you are. Friday through Sunday we walk Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Cancún together — neighborhoods, housing, what things actually cost. You’ll meet Black immigrants who made this crossing and hear what they wish they’d known. And you’ll spend three days with people asking the same questions you are, which is its own kind of answer.
Includes airport pickup and all local transport, three days of guided touring, community meetings, and a group welcome dinner. For groups of 5 to 12. Children 12 and under are $275; under 4 travel free. Flights and lodging not included — we send vetted lodging options at several price points once you’re booked. One person books for the whole group: have your organizer take the call and we’ll send them everything to share with the rest. A $275 deposit per adult and $100.00 per person for children under 12 holds your date once confirmed, with the balance due 30 days before your tour.

A meeting with an attorney who specializes in immigration, a ride to the INM office to finalize your temporary or permanent residence, an orientation to banking and financial logistics, introductions to healthcare providers and facilities, time with the local Black immigrant community, curated lodging recommendations, and a personalized relocation roadmap. Up to four family members. Flights and lodging not included. A $1,000 deposit holds your date once confirmed, with the balance due 30 days before your tour.

SOMEONE ON THE GROUND
Concierge support for your crossing
You can do this alone. People do.
But alone means finding an immigration attorney through a Google search. It means a realtor who sees a foreign name and quotes accordingly. It means landing at Cancún with three suitcases and nobody waiting.
There is another way to arrive.

What we actually do
We are not attorneys, and we are not a real estate agency. The filing and the negotiating belong to people licensed to do them — and we will put you in front of the right ones.
Some of this belongs in licensed hands. Your visa filing, your lease — those are theirs to do, and we’d never want it otherwise. Ours is the part nobody else does.
What we have is a network built by living here — the attorney who answers emails, the realtor who won’t waste your time, the banker who has done this for Americans before and knows which document you’ll be missing. We open those doors. Then we stay in the room.
We accept no referral fees. No commission splits. Nothing from anyone we send you to.
Every introduction we make is one we’d make for a friend, because that is the only reason we make it. When you pay an attorney, you pay the attorney. Not a peso moves through us.
Ask any other relocation service whether they can say that.
The Landing Team ($800)-The Foundation
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Everything else builds on it.
We begin by listening. Your timeline, your people, your fears, the parts you haven’t said out loud yet. Then we build your plan in writing — not a template, yours.
From there we open the doors:
- A licensed immigration attorney who will tell you the truth about your visa
- A realtor who knows the neighborhoods and won’t inflate for a foreign name
- A banker who has walked Americans through this before
- Healthcare providers we would send our own family to
And then the part nobody advertises. We chase the attorney when he goes quiet. We read the lease and tell you what clause three actually means. We notice when something has stalled, and we move it.
You will not be managing this alone, from another country, in a language you’re still learning.
Includes — intake session, written relocation plan, vetted introductions, 90 days of coordination, and email support throughout.
Attorney and provider fees are paid directly to them. We never mark them up.
Arrival & Welcome $450Arrival & Welcome $450
Welcome & Arrival $450 – a separate, optional add-on
Someone is waiting at the airport. Someone who looks like you and knows exactly what your face is doing right now.
We drive you to your new home. And before you carry a single bag inside, we stop at the door.
The threshold
You pause. You say why you came. Then you step through — because nobody should enter a new home for the first time by accident.
The offering
Something given to this land before anything is asked of it. Marigolds to the water, or a shell you carried from where you started, left on the shore.
The names
You speak the ones who couldn’t come. The dead. The ones still stateside. Whoever got you here.
The altar
We set one small surface in your new home — a candle, a photo, whatever you brought with you. The first thing in the house that is yours.
The first meal
We eat together. Nothing elaborate. You end your first day fed, in your own home.
This ceremony is yours to shape. Some families want prayer and a blessing over the house. Some want ancestors named. We ask before we arrive, and we follow your lead.
Ground hours
Some things can’t be done from a laptop. Opening a bank account can eat a morning and turn on one document nobody mentioned. The tax office wants you in person. Registering with a doctor means explaining your history in a second language.
Ground hours are Della, beside you, for any of it:
- Bank account opening, RFC and tax office, utility setup
- Doctor, pharmacy, and medical appointments
- Anything requiring your passport, ID, or signature
- Neighborhood orientation — the market, the pharmacy, the good coffee, the bus that goes where you need
- Introductions to the people already here who will become your people
| 5 hours | $425 |
| 10 hours | $800 |
| 20 hours | $1,500 |
Additional hours beyond your block: $85 per hour.
Aftercare
$250
Check-ins at thirty, sixty, and ninety days. Month two is when the adrenaline runs out and the homesickness arrives right on schedule. We know because we’ve been there. These calls exist for exactly that.

Before you book
We are not immigration attorneys. We don’t prepare or file documents. We help you understand your options and connect you with licensed counsel who does. We take no commissions. From anyone, ever.
We take few clients. This work requires presence, and presence doesn’t scale. We hold a small number of concierge clients at a time so each one gets a person rather than a place in a queue.
Third-party costs are separate.
Government and immigration fees, rental deposits and rent, transportation, household purchases, healthcare and prescriptions — all paid by you, directly, at cost.
Refunds. The Landing Team fee is non-refundable once your intake session has taken place. Unused ground hours are refundable.
Arrival & Welcome is refundable up to 14 days before your arrival date.

Yes! No credit card required. No obligation to purchase services.
Will you try to sell me something?
No. Our goal is to listen to your situation and recommend the best path forward — whether that’s a paid service or free resources.
What if I can’t make the scheduled time?
Just let us know. For the Free Consultation, please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. For the paid Strategy Session, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice — cancellations or no-shows with less notice than that are non-refundable, since that time is reserved specifically for you.

The deposit is non-refundable, but if your plans change, it can be applied toward a future tour date instead
