We want you to feel good about what you buy from us. This page explains exactly what happens if you change your mind, written plainly so there are no surprises.

Different offerings work differently. A membership you can leave any time. A tour we’ve already reserved lodging and guides for, we can’t undo. Everything below reflects that.

Free offerings

The Threshold (8-Day Ready to Go Challenge), free community membership, and the Wayfinder’s Toolkit guides.

Free, with nothing to refund. Leave any time. Unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of each one.

The Circle

$39 per month or $390 per year.

Cancel any time from your Mighty Networks account settings. You don’t need to email us or explain why.

When you cancel, your access continues through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We don’t cut you off mid-month for time you’ve paid for.

Monthly memberships. We don’t refund past months, including a month you were billed for but didn’t use. If a renewal caught you by surprise, email us. We’d rather sort it out than have you feel taken.

Annual memberships. Full refund within 14 days of purchase or renewal. After 14 days, no refund, and your access runs through the end of the year you’ve paid for.

Soulful Migration (the ebook)

Our Kindle ebook is sold and fulfilled by Amazon, and Amazon’s refund policy applies, not ours. We can’t issue a refund for a purchase that didn’t come through us. Contact Amazon directly.

Strategy Session

$197. 60 minutes, one-on-one.

Reschedule or cancel at no cost with 48 or more hours’ notice.

With less than 48 hours’ notice, cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. That time was reserved specifically for you and can’t be filled.

Once a session has taken place, it isn’t refundable.

If we need to reschedule for any reason, you’ll be offered a new time or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Self-Guided Discovery

$297. A digital itinerary with vetted lodging, neighbourhoods to walk, and one call with Della while you’re there.

This is a digital product delivered immediately, so the moment you buy it you have all of it.

Full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as you haven’t yet taken your call with Della. Once that call has happened, the purchase isn’t refundable.

Discovery tours

We reserve transportation, guides, lodging and professional appointments well ahead of your visit, and those commitments cost us whether or not you travel. Deposits are non-refundable for that reason, but they transfer.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is your responsibility. It generally covers cancellations we can’t.

Family Discovery: $1,400
2 days for 1–2 adults, children welcome.

$200 deposit holds your dates. Non-refundable, but transferable to a future date.
$1,200 balance due 15 days before arrival.
Cancellation follows the schedule below.

Group Discovery: $550 per person
A private tour for 5–12 people, booked by one lead contact.

$275 deposit per person holds the dates. Non-refundable.
$275 balance per person due 30 days before departure.
The lead contact is responsible for the whole party. If individual people drop out, their deposits are not refunded, but they may be transferred to replacements in the same party up to 14 days before departure.
If the party falls below 5 people, we’ll talk to you. We may be able to run it, reprice it, or move the dates. We won’t simply keep your money and cancel.

Premium Relocation Tour: $3,500
3 days for up to 4 family members. Flights and lodging not included.

$1,000 deposit holds your confirmed date. Non-refundable, but transferable to a future tour date.
$2,500 balance due 15 days before your tour.
You may transfer your tour to someone else up to 7 days before the start date, at no cost.

Cancellation schedule: all tours

Group Discovery. The balance is due 30 days before departure, so the schedule works like this for each person who cancels: the $275 deposit is not refunded (it may be transferred to a replacement in the same party up to 14 days before departure). If you cancel 15 or more days before departure, the balance you’ve paid is refunded in full. At 8–14 days, 50% of the balance is refunded. At 7 days or fewer, no refund.

If we cancel or reschedule a tour for any reason, you receive a full refund including your deposit.

Concierge services

Concierge work is sold after a consultation, and it’s coordination over time rather than a single event. So it works differently from a tour.

The Landing Team: $800. 90 days of coordination with a vetted network. Required foundation for any add-on, and included in every package. Does not include visa filing or house hunting.

Add-ons: Arrival & Welcome $450 · Ground hours (5 for $425, 10 for $800, 20 for $1,500, extra hours $85 each) · Aftercare $250.

Packages: The Crossing $1,250 · The Rooting $2,050 · The Homecoming $3,000. Every package includes the $800 Landing Team fee.

The Landing Team fee. Full refund if you change your mind before our initial phone call. Once we’ve had that call and the fee is paid, the Landing Team fee is not refundable, whether you buy it on its own or as part of a package, because that is when we begin work and commit our network’s time to you.

Everything else. Anything else you’ve bought is refunded in full before we begin it, less anything already spent on your behalf with a third party, which we’ll show you.

Once we’ve started. We refund the part we haven’t delivered, except the Landing Team fee as above. Ground hours you haven’t used are refunded at the rate you paid. Arrival & Welcome is refundable until we’ve booked anything for it. Aftercare is refundable until the first check-in.

Packages. The $800 Landing Team fee inside a package follows the rule above. The rest of the package is refunded for whatever we haven’t delivered.

Payment plans. The Rooting and The Homecoming can be paid in three instalments. A refund returns what you’ve paid for undelivered work, other than the Landing Team fee, and cancels remaining payments.

Courses

(Hold this section until the course opens for enrollment. It is waitlist-only today.)

Soulful Migration: The Complete Immersion: $397, or 3 payments of $147. VIP $697, or 3 payments of $233.

14 days, no questions asked. If the course isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full. You don’t have to finish anything, submit anything, or explain yourself.

After 14 days we can’t offer a refund. You’ll have had access to the full course by then, and it stays yours for life.

Payment plans. A refund within 14 days returns what you’ve paid and cancels the remaining payments. After 14 days, the remaining payments stand.

VIP. Before your first coaching call, the full amount is refundable within the 14-day window. Once a coaching call has taken place, the course portion ($397) remains refundable within that window; the VIP premium does not, because the coaching time has been given.

Circle access included with the course. Enrolling includes 12 months of The Circle at no additional cost. If you refund the course within 14 days, that Circle access ends with it. After 12 months, membership continues at the standard rate only if you choose to subscribe. We won’t bill you automatically.

Third-party costs

Attorney fees, government and immigration fees, rental deposits, flights, lodging, transportation, and any other outside expense are paid by you directly to those providers. We never handle or mark up that money, and we can’t refund it. Those providers’ own policies apply.

How to request a refund

Email info@blacktomexico.net with your name, the email you purchased under, what you bought, and the date. You don’t need to explain why.

We’ll reply within 24 hours. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

To cancel The Circle, use your Mighty Networks account settings. That’s immediate and doesn’t require us.

If something has gone wrong

If you’re unhappy with something and it isn’t covered above, email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us the sale plus a fee and takes months to resolve; a conversation usually takes a day. We would much rather hear from you.

Black to Mexico reserves the right to update this policy. The version in effect on your purchase date is the one that applies to your purchase.
